Physiotherapy Referral

Patients can now choose to self-refer to their local trust physiotherapist.

You can self-refer if you are over the age of 16 and if you are suffering from recent injuries such as sprains or strains, if you suffer from joint or muscular pain or have low back pain or neck pain.

However, you should consult your GP if you are under 16 or if you require physiotherapy for a neurological, respiratory, obstetric or gynaecological condition.
