Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If you need a home visit, please try to call between 08:30 and 09:30 to speak to the doctor on triage. .

We are happy to visit patients who are housebound, recently bereaved or too poorly to be moved. The decision to visit at home will be made purely on health grounds; difficulties with childcare and transport are not valid reasons for a house call.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
