Triage Service

          If you are unwell, please ring our traige line between 8.30am - 10am. Our team will take some details and a GP will ring you back. After speaking with our team, they may feel its  best    for you to attend an appointment at the surgery. They will make this for you while you are on the telephone. They may ask you to attend for bloods or an appointment with our nursing team too.

Routine Phone Calls

Our Doctors offer routine phone calls after morning clinics to deal with issues such as blood results, referrals and medication queries. These calls are booked at 8.30am for the day ahead and normally the Doctor will ring you roughly between midday and 2pm. There are a limited number of calls available each day and not all Doctors will have phone calls available. Please note that we have more than doubled that quantity of these available compared to pre-pandemic.

Treatment Room / Practice Nursing & Nursing Team appointments

The nursing staff are available for taking blood samples, checking blood pressure, immunisations, dressings and the removal of sutures. Your own GP or the hospital may refer you to the Treatment Room, or the nurses may give you an appointment to be reviewed.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
