GP Triage Service

          If you are unwell, please ring our triage line from 8.30am Mon - Fri.  Our team will take some details and a GP will ring you back. After speaking with our team, they may feel its               best for you to attend an appointment at the surgery. They will make this for you while you are on the telephone. They may ask you to attend for bloods or an appointment with                 our nursing team too. After our call lists have reached their maximum capacity we run a strictly emergency service only due to the current demand we are experiencing. Please note           we run an urgent only service on a Monday morning. 

GP Routine Phone Calls

Our Doctors offer routine phone calls on Tues - Fridays to deal with issues such as blood results, referrals and medication queries that our pharmacist can't help you with (Please arrange a phonecall with our pharmacist to discuss medication queries first. They pharmacy team will refer the query on to the GP if they need further advice). These calls are booked at 8.30am.  Please note that we have more than doubled that quantity of these available compared to pre-pandemic but must have a limit due to the unprecedented demand the practice is currently facing. No routine calls are available on a Monday due to us running an URGENT only service. 

   Treatment Room / Practice Nursing & Nursing Team appointments

   The nursing staff are available for taking blood samples, checking blood pressure, immunisations, dressings and the removal of sutures. Your own GP or the hospital may refer you       to the Treatment Room, or the nurses may give you an appointment to be reviewed. Our nursing team also can ring you back regarding queries which include diabetic questions,         asthma related questions, vaccination queries. Please ring the office on 02892 682216 to arrange a phonecall with the nursing team. If you are unsure who is best to deal with your     query, please just ask us when you ring. 

   Pharmacy Phonecalls

   Our Pharmacy team are available on a Mon, Wed, Thursday and Friday. They are experts in answering questions on medication queries and helping you with any issues you have         regarding your medication. Please ring our office team to book a call with our pharmacy team.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
