Routine Appointments

The general waiting time for a routine GP appointment can be 2 – 4 weeks. Although you are registered under a certain Doctor, you can be seen by any of the Doctors at the practice.

Routine appointments with our treatment room must be booked as we do not offer a walk in service. Please call our reception team to make an appointment or log on to your patient access.

Emergency Appointments

Emergency GP appointments are available each morning via our triage service which runs from 8.30am – 9.30am. This works by phoning the practice during this time slot where the reception team will take some details. The Doctor will then return your call and speak with you over the telephone. We do not operate a walk in service at any time.

If a medical emergency occurs outside of these times you can phone our reception team who will try their best to help. Please be aware that after the triage time our Doctors are in clinics.

Routine Phone Calls

Our Doctors offer routine phone calls after morning clinics to deal with issues such as blood results, referrals and medication queries. These calls are booked at 8.30am for the day ahead and normally the Doctor will ring you roughly between midday and 2pm. There are a limited number of calls available each day and not all Doctors will have phone calls available.

Treatment Room

The nursing staff are available for taking blood samples, checking blood pressure, immunisations, dressings and the removal of sutures. Your own GP or the hospital may refer you to the Treatment Room, or the nurses may give you an appointment to be reviewed.

Please note that the treatment room is by appointment only.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
