Repeat Prescriptions
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- Post your request in the green postbox outside the health centre when we are closed or drop into our front desk when we are opened.
- Register with the on-line service via the link at the top of this page to order over the internet
- Use the 24 hour answerphone (028 9268 9956)
- Ring our main office line on 02892682216 and select option 1
All patients must order their repeat prescriptions directly from us. All prescriptions take 2 full working days for us to process and then your pharmacy will pick up on behalf of you (please check your local pharmacy pick up days).
Please nominate a local a pharmacy for us to send your prescriptions to directly so that you can collect your medication from them . You will still have to wait for 2 working days but will only have to make one journey! Please contact the surgery to check if we work with a specific pharmacy or ask them directly. Every pharmacy picks their prescriptions up at different intervals and times of the week.
Please note that requests left on our 24 hour answerphone or via patient access that are not regarding your repeat prescriptions will not be processed.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you always have a supply of your prescription medicines. You should always order your repeat prescriptions in good time.

Our team will communicate with you if you are due a medication review. Alternatively, please ring the practice and ask to speak to our pharmacy team if you have any questions regarding your medication. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions. Please note our team may also alert you that you need a Blood Pressure check / blood tests etc completed before the next issue of your medication. Please arrange this so that you medication is not delayed.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into
